To meet all your storage needs, Yankee Self Storage has two self-storage facilities in Central Maine -- Skowhegan and Solon. If you
need storage space for anything from personal items to your boat or camper, call us first. We have 68 storage units to fit all your needs!
Unit Sizes:

- 20' x 170' Metal Pole Barn for open storage up to 19'
Units start at $35.00 per month and you are required to sign a month by month contract with us.
Storage Tips:
- Plan your storage unit space by placing the items you will need access to in the front of your unit and allow yourself walkways.
- Mark your boxes! This will allow you to easily find what you're looking for when you need it.
- Stack your lighter boxes on top of your heavier boxes.
- Do not store perishable items or any other food products.
- Do not store any combustible items in your unit (gasoline, paint thinner, paint, solvents, etc).
- Breakables should be wrapped in paper before you put them in a box and you should stack them on top of your other boxes. Mark these boxes "fragile".
- Tables with removable legs should be "broken down" to save space.
- Do not place heavy or sharp objects on upholstered furniture.
- Cover furniture and mattresses with a protective cover.
- Make sure you use a quality lock on your units' door.
